On Safari

This is a "King" parrot in Iris and Bill's garden, what an ace bird. He had come in for a free feed, but the veranda was out of action getting a new coat of sealer.

Healsville, Victoria, 12th June 2010

Went to a very odd shop, Blackspur Antiques, tried to buy three items, but they would only sell me one as they did'nt know the price!!!!.

Dined in style @ the "Wattleseed" . Casulate was very nice, my first time with is dish, just about to google it to see how it should be done.
Heading off from Healsville @ sparrowfart, Bill and Iris will br of to St.Kilda market if the weather is ok.

On Safari

Well the safari starts today, we have had a few trips away to Apollo Bay and Broken Hill, these were to test the vans and what gear I should take. I must say I've picked up a few nice fishing rods mostly at "Cash Converters" Bendigo!!!, anyway I have 5 rods stored in my rod holder in the van roof. Got a new matress in Mildura and its great for sleeping and sitting on a welcome improvement on the last one. Bought a nice heavy steak pan for $10 @ the Salvos, hope it does nice porterhouse.

Next infusion @ RPA Sydney in about 6 weeks.

So to pack the final bits and bobs and check the oil and water and off to our first stop, Iris and Bill in Healsville.

Xyston Roman and Gallic cav conversions

I did these last year before the Gallic cav release or I would have used Gallic horses with the Romans.
